Hurricanes defeat Angels to win 40+ Fall Championship

The Hurricanes (12-3) and Angels (13-3) squared off for one last game of the 40+ Fall 2022 season under the lights at CE King.  These two teams split the 4 game regular season and most recently split two playoff games with the Angels winning last week in extra innings. Hurricanes would throw Jonathan Garza and Measha Williams to counter the Angels attack of ace Tony Moore (TMo). Both teams would exchange zero's for the first three innings until swapping single runs in the 4th with RBIs from Juan Cantu (Hurricanes) and Geoff Giacco (Angles). The Hurricanes offense would open up in the top of the 5th, plating 4 runs off big hits from Benjamin Galvan (BJ) and Jose De Los Reyes and would add one more manufactured run in the 8th. That would be all the Hurricanes would need on this night as Williams in relief would retire 11 of the final 12 Angels batters. A great 40+ fall season is in the books and congratulations to the Houston Hurricanes for their 4th HHL Title.

Congratulations to the Hurricanes. They are the 2022 Fall Season 40+ Division Champions!
